Vines : a mid-slope plot to the south of the village called “Wasserloch”.
Terroir : marl and sandstone. Clay soil where silt and loess mix with sandstone and oolitic limestone scree. A soil with a wide variety of rocks, rich in minerals, fertile and with good water retention capacity.
In the cellar : Slow, gentle pressing; fermentation without the addition of yeast; after fermentation, very moderate sulphiting; aged for 6 months on the lees in stainless steel vats; bottled at the estate. We put our wines in reserve to offer them at their best potential.
Degree of alcohol : 14.0 % vol.
Keeping : 2027 to 2030
