Great experience!
Our stay at Domaine Gueth was a great experience! We were made very welcome by Muriel and her husband, who, in addition to being charming hosts, shared their knowledge with us with passion. Their respectful approach to nature and their research into terroirs were very interesting, and their wines succulent!
Marie

Nice explanations
Nice explanations from the owner during my visit. Previously, I had the chance to taste their Gewurztraminer Confidentiel 2020: a delight.
Christian
An excellent evening
We spent an excellent evening at the winegrower’s aperitif. Mrs. Gueth welcomed us warmly and shared her passion and knowledge in French and German with our guests. We really enjoyed the wines! We recommend them!

Super tasting
Super tasting, very friendly hosts who explain a lot of very interesting things, I highly recommend it!
A beautiful place at the foot of the Vosges Mountains. We discovered some perfect wines here. The winemaker, Mrs. Gueth, gave a very interesting presentation about the various soils and vines of the area, as well as about organic winemaking. Thanks to her extensive knowledge and passionate work, she has produced these excellent wines. I bought a few bottles and brought them home. Since then, I have been ordering these wines again and again because I find them sensational. My favorites are the medium-dry versions of Gewurztraminer and Pinot Gris, and also Pinot Noir, the Burgundy that has a particularly delicious flavor.
We couldn’t have wished for a more perfect ending to our two-week campervan trip through Austria than our stay at this charming winery in a beautiful village. The setting is absolutely stunning, and the hospitality was unforgettable from the very first moment.
We were welcomed with a glass of crémant before check-in, which immediately set the tone. After a short rest in our room, we joined the host’s invitation for a wine tasting — and we were so glad we did. The wines were excellent, with plenty of character and stories behind them, and the passion of the host made it even more special.
Dinner was arranged for us at a local restaurant, where we were greeted like old friends and enjoyed wonderful food paired with a superb wine list.
Our guest room was simply a delight: stylish furniture, extremely comfortable beds, a modern bathroom, and a unique high table crafted from old wine barrels — a detail we loved.
This place combines authentic charm, warm hospitality, and great wines in a way that makes you want to return. Highly recommended!
A wonderful stay! Our hosts welcomed us with kindness and warmth. We were able to taste a selection of organic Alsace wines, and Muriel and Ralph shared their love of the region. A wonderful discovery!
We had a wonderful weekend in August surrounded by vineyards, a complete change of scenery. The room was very nice and very clean. We tasted and bought some very good wines. What more can we say except SEE YOU SOON...
I have been ordering wine from the establishment for years, Jean, Claude Gueth More precisely, the age of my daughter, 34 years old, I recommend The prices are correct and the quality is there and I think that one of these days, I will have to try the guest room too
We attended the wine tasting on-site and thoroughly enjoyed it. A very engaging tour led by the friendly winemaker Muriel herself. Muriel spent a lot of time with our group and answered all our questions in detail. The wines were also delicious, so we immediately bought a box. Thank you for this wonderful experience, and maybe see you soon.
We booked a tour of the vineyards with tastings and a visit to the wine cellars. Muriel spent a lot of time with our group, answered all of our questions in detail, and catered to our every need and wine preference. The wines were delicious, and even the ones we weren't so keen on were interesting to try, as Muriel explained how different soil conditions can affect the same grape variety. For example, we tasted two Rieslings from the same grape variety, but the wines were grown in different vineyards, which altered the flavor. She explained the differences in viticulture to us and showed us the different methods of viticulture in the fields. Thank you for this wonderful introduction to the world of winemaking.
We stayed two nights at the vineyard, and everything was absolutely perfect. We were amazed by the passion and enthusiasm – in the winemaking, the hotel business, and above all, the genuine care and understanding for the product being created.
If you start asking questions, there are no limits to what you can learn. We were even invited to see the beginning of the winemaking process, as our stay luckily coincided with the harvest. It was truly fascinating to listen to and learn from the owners, who clearly put their heart and soul into their work.
The wine tasting was another highlight – full of enthusiasm, history, and engagement. Every question was welcomed and answered in detail.
The rooms were lovely, spacious, and spotlessly clean. Each had a charming wine-inspired design, with details like a wine barrel table and decorative bottles on the walls.
We would definitely book here again – highly recommended!
Nice wine tasting and very informative! The host clearly explained the difference between sandstone-based and limestone soils, and how they influence the character of the wines. Even with different grape varieties, the expression of the terroir was evident. A great experience that deepens your appreciation for Alsace wines!
Nice tasting and very informative! The host clearly explained the difference between sandstone and limestone soils, and their impact on the wines. Even with varied grape varieties, the terroir was clearly expressed. An excellent experience to better understand Alsace wines!
We booked a wine tasting with a cellar and vineyard tour at Muriel's. We received a very warm welcome, and Muriel told us a lot about the geographical location and organic winemaking. She speaks excellent German, which made it very easy for us.
Muriel's philosophy is that when refining the wine, the winemaker always emphasizes the natural characteristics of each grape variety, avoiding the addition of sugar or yeast. This slow fermentation creates a very unique flavor.
Finally, we tasted a selection of wines. Muriel catered to our individual tastes and gave us information about the grapes, the vineyard, and the soils. Snacks and a Bundt cake were also served with the various wines.
All the wines were delicious; we were particularly impressed by the Pinot Blanc Auxerrois, the Sylvaner, and the dry Gewürztraminer.
For our anniversary outing celebrating our company's 10th anniversary, we booked a guided wine tasting with Muriel. Since a colleague had injured her knee, Muriel immediately accommodated her and changed her planned route so that we could still get all the important information about her winery and understand the different vineyard sites. We were particularly impressed by Muriel's philosophy, which closely aligns with ours. The way she produces wine according to the natural conditions, without subsequently altering its flavor for sale, left a lasting impression on us! Here, the vine is the focus, just as the person is for us. During the subsequent wine tasting, Muriel explained the different wines to us very well and also took our preferences into account. I would definitely plan another visit with Muriel on my next visit to Alsace!
Had a great time visiting the vineyard! Really friendly owners, even the dog. Informative dialogue about the type wines and food they go with. Would highly recommend it to my friends!
If you're looking for wines that exude terroir, respect nature, are balanced, deep, and elegant, then don't hesitate to discover Muriel Gueth's wines. Special mention goes to the Riesling and Pinot Noir. For lovers of Riesling with "petrol" notes, try the 2017; it's a gem. As for the "Terre natale" Pinot Noir, produced from limestone soils, it's one of the best in the region that I've had the opportunity to discover: full of depth, complexity, and length. It's tasting very good now, and will likely only improve in the months and years to come. Finally, the estate produces delicious grape juice. We look forward to visiting you again 👍🏻😉
A very good experience to discover the winemaking profession in its entirety (accompanied walk in the vineyards, cellars and tasting of different wines). We were well received by Muriel, good friendliness and exchange with the group. I recommend.
The place is beautiful, clean, and well-kept. The room is very spacious and the prices are very fair. The owners are always helpful and kind, and the breakfast is super plentiful and high-quality. The wines they produce are very interesting and varied. Highly recommended. Excellent for relaxing in the greenery of Alsace, but also close to Colmar.
Muriel's heart and soul comes through in her simplistic explanation of what her wine philosophy is. She told us, "I let the wine come to me.....I don't try to modify or force the wine in any ways by adding external ingredients, even yeast". That quality shines through in all the wines we tasted. We loved her passion, philosophy, and approach to wine making. A truly great, homely experience and we would recommend this tasting to all without hesitation or reservations.
We had an incredibly inspiring tour with Muriel, who is an 8th generation wine-grower, totally passionate about her vines and wines. She believes in letting the wines make themselves, in their own time, without interference from chemicals and additives - and the results speak for themselves. Interesting and delicious wines that will be different with each harvest - and are completely contrasting across the different terroirs of sandstone and limestone. Wonderful! Thank you.
A rich and unforgettable guided tour, insightful explanations, from geological changes hundreds of years ago to the age of grape vines, as well as the winemaking techniques and concepts passed down from generation to generation by the owner. There are up to 8 flavors of wine tasting, I believe you will definitely find the one that suits your taste.
Our family enjoyed a lovely afternoon appointment exploring the cellar and tasting wine. We loved hearing about their wine making philosophy and really enjoyed the experience of tasting their wonderful wines. Our four kids said their grape juice was the best they’d ever had so, naturally, we bought some along with several other bottles of the adult grape juice. Thank you for a lovely afternoon!
We stayed in a motorhome overnight (for free...but no services, so need to be fully self sufficient).
A wonderful location, just a short, easy and pleasant, 20 minute cycle to Eguisheim on green veloroute.
The wines of Domaine Gueth are excellent. We did the apero gourmand - a 6 wine tasting with tartines paired with each of the wines (and kindly adapted for vegetarian ) ...both were great. Muriel prepared the tartines and her husband poured the wine...giving a clear and interesting explanation of each, with some fun anecdotes - quite an English sense of humour ! . Un grand merci à la famille Gueth
My mother and I were staying in Strasbourg for a couple of days and we decided to go for a drive through the wine lands nearby. We came across this estate and booked a wine tasting. The location was super lovely and the wine’s excellent. We were already a little bit experienced with wine tastings but we were super impressed by the detailed information we were given. The wines were excellent and we got in depth information not only about the wines but also about the wine cultivation and the difference different soils make to the wines and so on and so forth . Worth a visit !
We thank Muriel again for her welcome and her explanations. The estate is well-located and has an unusual operating philosophy, but with very convincing results. We had a great time!
A nice tour by a warm woman who can tell you about their wine products with love. The tasting was great to experience. I liked sweet wine more than my wife. It was a dilemma, but we came to a compromise with the help of the hostess. Very nice and very sweet person. We'll see each other when the bottles are gone 😊. Au revoir!
We stayed two nights at the winery and everything was a great experience. Room, location, wine tasting, cleanliness, breakfast… there are only two rooms and this allows family Gueth to give the best service possible. Totally recommend it not only for wine, but also for accommodation.
Excellent stay at Domaine de Gueth! Very warm welcome from Muriel and her husband. The room is very modern and very well decorated in the spirit of wine. It overlooks the vineyards as far as the eye can see. Hearty breakfast, tasting of their organic wines, crémants and grape juices and walking advice. A friendly relationship quickly developed and we had a great time! We thank them very warmly for everything! Looking forward to seeing each other again. Very kindly yours
We came for a tour of the cellars and a tasting. We were welcomed by Muriel's husband. Very friendly and professional person who loves his job. We didn't see the time passing. The wines are excellent. I'm starting this area again.
Visit and wine tasting at the estate. We didn't go to sleep there. Splendid tasting of excellent Alsace wines, very well explained. A very generous session to discover a very varied palette of wines. A must do!
Came for a visit and a tasting, we had a very pleasant time. Ms. GUETH was very welcoming, very educational, and shared with us with passion her vision of viticulture. As for the wines tasted, they were excellent. Thank you for this great experience!
A superb experience with Muriel GUETH and her husband. We loved this moment with lots of explanations and passion. Of all the areas we visited, we fell in love with this tasting. A domain respecting the values of the products and the profession. THANKS.
Today I went to visit this beautiful family business. Really interesting experience. I and other enthusiasts were accompanied by the owner Muriel to visit the vineyards and the cellar with subsequent tasting of numerous wines, all of high quality. My rating is 5 stars because you can't give more. If you come to Alsace, you absolutely must pass through here.
A gourmet aperitif with friends in July, very successful, both informative because Muriel Gueth transmits her knowledge with simplicity, very friendly in the meetings with the winemaker and the other customers (Argentinians, it was nice) and in this association format wines/small dishes/bites of which we could smell the preparation beforehand, to allow everyone to discover this house! Thank you Muriel Gueth for this beautiful evening and passing on a little of your passion!
We had a voucher for a gourmet aperitif offered by one of our relatives, and we discovered Muriel's estate last night. An excellent time spent with a lot of information learned (we are new to wine). The atmosphere was very friendly and Muriel, who is passionate about her profession, welcomed us with the desire to pass on to us her philosophy and her approach to wine culture. We really enjoyed the wine tastings and the excellent food served with us! We encourage you to come and do the same!
My wife and I visited this winery in July 2024 and had the most amazing time. The owners were friendly and knowledgeable and told some great stories. The space was intimate and their wines were incredible. We brought some wine back home with us and we can't wait to share with friends. Would highly recommend for anyone visiting wineries in the Alsace region!
A very friendly gourmet aperitif, excellent welcome, we really had an excellent evening. Thanks again to Muriel for sharing her love and respect for vines and wine with such sincerity. Personal favorite for its crémant and its Roches Dorées. I wish you much success in your field.
We had the pleasure of spending a weekend at the Domaine Gueth including one night accommodation, guided tour and wine tasting. And everything was amazing. The room is very nice and clean, bathroom super modern. The tour was very interesting and Muriel spent a lot of time with us explaining everything and answering our questions. The degustation was superb as not only the wines are very tasty but we learnt a lot again. Muriel and her husband are both very nice and it was a pleasure talking to them. And not to forget the breakfast which was fantastic. We can 100 % recommend spending time at the Domaine Gueth.
We visited Domaine Gueth during a team building workshop. Muriel and Ralph were simply amazing and made this visit magical. Muriel's passion for the land she inherited is visible in everything she does. Her systemic philosophy created a oneness with the earth and grapes she nurtures. The wine testing was rich with information and knowledge about what makes this land so special. The intimate setting is such that one feels at home. Thank you for this unforgettable memory.
Muriel is passionate about her job and knows how to share it with us. The rain didn't allow us to walk in the vineyards in his company. Have a good stay
I recently had the pleasure of experiencing a wine tasting at Domaine Gueth, and it exceeded all my expectations. The tour began with a very good, informative, and educational walk along the vineyards. It was fascinating to learn about the different types of soils and how they influence the wine's character.
The highlight for me was the wine tasting itself. Every wine was excellent, but the Riesling from the sandstone soil was particularly outstanding. I never knew Riesling could be so exceptional!
The prices are fair, and it's heartening to see that Domaine Gueth is a family-run organic winery. You can truly sense Ms. Gueth's passion and dedication to winemaking. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!
Hello Muriel and Jean-Claude I wanted to thank you for your welcome yesterday in your domain It was, personally, a first, this picnic experience that I found, this meeting, very friendly with very friendly and pleasant participatory guests. A big thank you to Muriel for her explanations on the life of a vine during our walk We feel, in her, the passion for this noble profession. thanks to you two Receive my cordial and respectful greetings Serge
A very good moment of sharing with a woman passionate about her profession and always ready to share. The welcome was warm, the guest room perfect (as well as the breakfast!) and the visit really interesting. A very good address to communicate: you will not be disappointed.
We booked our private winery tour in advance via the Internet - a very convenient and uncomplicated procedure, especially if you don't (yet) know your way around the place. Ms. Gueth welcomed us very warmly. Her explanations about the different soils, how they are created and what influence they have on the wine were very easy for us to understand. And the most important thing: we really enjoyed them (current favorite: Riesling from Sandstein)! Last but not least: if there isn't enough space in the trunk or you get thirsty for Gueth wine at home - just order it, that went great too!
Passing visit. Visit of the cellars in 1 hour with explanation of the work, the relationship with the terroir and the vines... followed by a wine tasting. Wines marked with the personality of the estate which can be segmented but passionate owners.
Discovery during a gourmet aperitif allowing you to understand and of course taste wine and food combinations. A very nice evening of discovery and a lot of things learned. We were particularly sensitive to Muriel's humility in her approach to her profession as a winemaker. And of course, we had a blast. Also note the very good dishes prepared by the Bellevue restaurant. So, thank you for this evening!
We had already stayed there but we returned for a wine tasting and the welcome, advice and passion are always there. In addition, the wines are delicious and the tasting takes place with the wise advice of the hosts.
Friendly welcome, tour of the estate and very interesting explanations, particularly on the minerality of the terroirs. The differences in the terroirs were clearly highlighted during the tasting. Excellent wines, a passionate and charming couple, in short a very good time of discoveries!
Thank you for this excellent time spent introducing us to your wines during this tasting (all your products, even the grape juice were excellent). You knew how to share your passion with us. Thanks again 😉
At Muriel Gueth, we relearn how to understand and taste wine! The presentation of his work and his conception of the profession are captivating! We also learn why it is so important to support independent winegrowers: not only for them, but really for us, for quality wine and completely transparent information. Thank you for this incomparable welcome!
We had a great time at the estate. The love of the profession is felt at every moment, from the welcome, to the visit, and of course, to the tasting! Generosity at all levels with a hearty breakfast. In short, it was an epicurean weekend in every way.
A big thank you to our friends who introduced us to this place.
Beautiful explanations provided by the operator during my visit. I previously had the chance to taste their Gewurztraminer Confidentiel 2020: a marvel.
A wonderful experience! We visited with 10 girls on a Saturday lunchtime and Muriel took a lot of time for us to best present her philosophy and the wines to us.
She was super friendly and switched between English and German since we were in a bilingual group.
A very charming winemaker with great wines! I highly recommend it!
We arrived in the middle of harvest and Madame Gueth took the time with us as if it was the middle of January. She was very informative and gracious and the wines were a perfect reflection of the terroir, lovely. We highly recommend making a reservation here.
We had an excellent evening with an aperitif at the winegrower's. Ms. Gueth received us very well and shared her passion and her knowledge in French but also in German for our guests. We really liked the selected wines! I recommend!
Thank you to the owners, we shared a lovely moment at the estate, the owners took the time to explain their production and their different grape varieties to us. I recommend, their wines are excellent.
We were a group of 15 women. The tour of the wine cellar was very informative. The winemaker spoke enthusiastically about organic wine production. We tried 8 wines. Even we women could taste the difference between the two soil conditions that affect the wine. The tour and wine tasting is definitely recommended.
A good moment of sharing with Murielle who details her work and her knowledge with passion. Very pleasant tasting, overnight stay and breakfast. We will not fail to stop by to see them for some purchases if we go to Alsace.
If you have a passion for the terroir, go to Domaine Ghet to make your palate sparkle to the rhythm of the bubbles of Crémant rosé! The welcome is warm and the Limestone atmosphere will not displease you! At the Grès of your desires you will taste vintages of rare quality thanks to the collaborative work between Muriel and her hectares of vines. A really good moment! Alsatianly yours.
Very warm welcome to the estate. Muriel, the winemaker, takes great care to explain her practice to you. The wines are delicious, they have a lot of character. Opening a bottle from Domaine de Gueth is happiness! A must-see. Thank you Muriel for your welcome Harvesters for a day

I offered two nights to my parents in a guest room with Muriel and her husband. They were delighted! Very very well received, hearty breakfasts. Very friendly. I highly recommend

Today, it’s the man who’s doing it! Just for the two of us, in the middle of the harvest period! And for more than 1h30 of sharing: it's difficult to find a couple of winegrowers who are more available and passionate about the profession. A total commitment which makes the visit and the explanations in the cellar thrilling. And remarkable is the solid and very informative tasting that follows. A very nice moment which makes us regret being so far away to repeat the experience here.
A warm and very friendly welcome. Explanations given by the owner which allow you to feel all the passionate work that goes into obtaining quality wines. Highly recommended.
The meeting of independent winegrowers in love with their terroir and their vines. A real sharing with us of this love, a tasting rich in explanations and flavors. A superb and surprising Riesling. And a welcome for the night in the perfect vineyards. Thank you again and see you soon
Very good experience with a very warm welcome. You can feel the passion and the desire to transmit. I was accompanied by an English-speaking person for whom the visit was a real treat, both languages are possible. We talked at length with Muriel about the food/wine pairings before leaving our suitcase full of bottles! Thank you Muriel!!!
A top-notch welcome and very clear information on winemaking, grape varieties and courageous and necessary organic options. The wines are typical with a well-marked character far from the consensual standards! An essential address.
Very likeable winemaker, excellent wines, typical of the variety and extremely reasonably priced. Were warmly welcomed and generously 'served'. Thank you
We were traveling in France with our CampVan Malibu in mid-August 2023 and found Muriel Gueth's winery in Gueberschwihr via France Passion as a place to stay. We were a little late. Muriel Gueth gave us a warm welcome and was very sorry that her pitch was already occupied. In return, she invited us to the wine tasting the next morning. We gladly accepted the offer and the next morning we learned a lot about ecological winegrowing from Muriel and her husband and drowned. Very tasty wines and Cremonts, which are developed with a lot of love and honest craftsmanship and a lot of maturing time. There are now some treasures in our cellar and we can warmly recommend Weingut Muriel Gueth in Gueberschwihr. Greetings to Gueberschwihr and the winery
Very good welcome, followed by an interesting visit of the cellars which allowed us to learn more about the wine and the region. Then we had a tailor-made tasting of the different wines.
Warm welcome, we had a tour of the cellars followed by a tasting of their wines. A visit of about 1:30 in which we learned a lot about the vines, the making of wine, the bottling, the different wines, … To do if you pass in the region!
Absolutely fantastic place. We called and arranged the visit the same day. I visited many places for similar tours but this one was the BEST. The best wines we had during our stay in Alsace
The biggest thanks to Muriel Gueth and her family for such a warm welcome on Easter! Highly recommended stay in the room of bottles surrounded by vineyards. We had a personal excursion with Muriel and Pinkie 🐶 in the fields, later a perfect tasting of Alsace wines from different soils. Now only tastes from the wine bottles at home remind this perfect weekend! Thank You! 🍷🥂🍇
Absolutely great wines and a very pleasant owner who took care of us and nicely presented her wines. When we are in France again, we will definitely visit you for more wines. Thank you!
This was our last day in Colmar and we decided to go and visit another winery. We were lucky to get to Gueth Winery. The tour was fantastic!! we learn a lot about the area and the Alsace wine. The different from the old wine taste and the new taste of wine. Thank you very much for the lovely tour and tasting.
What a wonderful domaine to visit. We had a visit and tasting here today, and one we won't forget. To hear wine makers talk with such depth of knowledge and passion is wonderful. Great tour, amazing wines and a wonderful visit ! A must go to if you're in the Alsace.
By chance we came across this winery and we were pleasantly surprised by the personal approach of Muriel, the daughter who took over the vineyard. Even though they were busy with the harvest, she took her time to explain her take on creating wine. Unlike other wineries, she let the grapes decide what wine it will become. This is leading to very interesting creations, like a sparkling Muscat! We were on our bikes and restricted what we could take with us but we've really enjoyed the wines we bought.
Enjoyed our visit and tasting at this winery very much. It's a relatively small winery with a large personal touch. I also do like the fact the wines are made in a biological way. Based on this principal Gueth created some really lovely wines.
I stumbled upon this place by circumstance. And I am blessed for the experiance. First of all the wines that are coming out here set a standard of excellence that exemplify all that you want to think of the small farmer who listening to the products of his wines crafts a product that will be enjoyed long beyond the visit to the cellar. Secondly the care by which the owners of thsi vineyard will introduce and make you understand there product are why have to come to the Cave. Not just to taste but to learn.
