Vines :<\/strong> 40 years old, this wine was born in our plot of Grand Cru Goldert<\/strong><\/em><\/a> which means “Golden”, like the pretty color that wines take over time. Sloping plot covered on the surface with limestone pebbles which heat up strongly in the sun.<\/p>\n

Terroir :<\/strong> marl limestone<\/a>. Composed of clay deposits associated with oolitic limestone pebbles of marine origin.<\/p>\n

In the cellar:<\/strong> harvest in boxes of 40 kg; slow and gentle pressing; fermentation without adding yeasts; very moderate sulphiting; maturing 6 months on lees in stainless steel vats; bottling at the estate. We put our wines in reserve to offer them to their best potential.<\/p>\n

Nose :<\/strong> fine toasted, roasted notes and candied yellow fruits.<\/p>\n

Palate :<\/strong> round and long, rich and harmonious with white flowers. Honey and pineapple complete the palette.<\/p>\n

Muriel’s advice :<\/strong> you will delight in drinking this Pinot Gris Grand Cru Goldert as an aperitif, for dessert, or at any time of the day, simply for indulgence. Accomplice of foie gras, desserts with hazelnuts, almonds, salted butter caramel, gingerbread. It will also go well with small game in honey sauce, or with
