Vines : all young vines planted in 2015, “Guggereben” plot meaning “View of the Vines”, direct neighbor of the “Goldert” Grand Cru.
Terroir : marl limestone. Composed of clay deposits associated with oolitic limestone pebbles of marine origin.
In the cellar : Whole grapes gently macerated for 10 days. Devatting and end of fermentation in stainless steel vats. Then racking and placing in Burgundy barrels. To avoid pronouncing the woody notes and extracting only a touch of vanilla for 24 months, we use 5-year barrels. Bottled at the estate. We put our wines in reserve to offer them to their best potential.
Degree of alcohol : 13 % vol.
Keeping : 5 to 7 years
