Terroir : marl limestone. Composed of clay deposits associated with oolitic limestone pebbles of marine origin. Immediate neighbor of the “Goldert” Grand Cru.
In the cellar : over-ripened harvest, in November, before frost and in 40 kg boxes; slow and gentle pressing; fermentation without adding yeasts; very moderate sulphiting; maturing 6 months on lees in stainless steel vats; bottling at the estate. We store this Gewurztraminer Vendanges Tardives at least 18 months in the cellar to offer it to you at its best potential.
